Jimmy Sullivan is one of Music City’s most sought after bassists. Since moving to Nashville he has recorded and/or performed live with recording artists such as Lee Ann Womack, Mark Collie, Stephanie Adlington, Laila Biali,  Carol Welsman, Guthrie Trapp, Buddy Spicher, Mary Bragg, Becky Warren, Ben De La Cour, Anne McCue, Dixie Jade, Jason Petty, The Gypsy Hombres, Marcus Finnie, Geoff Pfeifer, and many others.

A graduate of the Virginia Commonwealth University jazz program, Sullivan spent 10 years playing in the New York City music scene before moving to Nashville in December 2013. In 2018, Jimmy was named Best Jazz Instrumentalist at the Nashville Industry Music Awards.
